Yay for school starting soon!
I'm going to actually try this year. REALLY try.
I'm excited for Women's Select :)
But I don't want to take APP. To anyone who's taken it or heard anything about it, how is it?
I really couldn't care less about how America is run.
Why is everyone dreading APP? It was one of my favorite classes this past year. Then again, it all depends on who you get. If you get Kalpinski (who is awesome), you will love it. I hear mixed reviews about the other teachers, but whoever the female teacher is that teaches APP is supposed to be pretty okay as well. You do a lot of neat things in APP. Sure, the Issue Investigation paper is a pain in the butt at first, but it's really not as bad as you might think (and that's not till second semester anyway). It's really not that bad. I think I got a 100% first semester, and like, a 99% second semester. (then again, I might just be one of those really nerdy kids who always gets good grades).
APP doesn't focus so much on how it's run as you might think. Well, there's an economic unit, and units about the branches of the government... it's really pretty easy. But, if you get Kalpinski, mostly you'll be watching random funny videos.
*gives an unenthusiastic "hurrah" for women's select*
I'm not a lover of America, that's my only complaint really.
And don't be too sad about Women's Select. My voice teacher said women's choirs sound better than mixed anyway (though it would be nice to be in mixed).
everyone is telling me that it is hard. i dont like america so this will be one of those classes that i am not going to pay attention to.
I just wanna get Mr. Weavers for app..=D
